Warp was my first try but I quickly arrived at wormhole.

So "winner" for the picture of a woman with a trophy? Or perhaps "woman"? Because clearly the picture shows a woman.

A wormhole would theoretically work as an conduit for rapid transportation because it warps spacetime. I think warp should work, too.

Warp(speed) was my first try too, I think it is a fitting answer. After being surprised for a few seconds got it though. But the stripey lights really indicate warpspeed (in which case where they are travelling feels less important,)

Exactly. It's like showing a picture of a sandwich to elicit the answer "bread." Otherwise, it's a nice assortment of clues.

If there were a picture of a sandwich in the B pictures quiz, I'd easily get bread.

And the point of a wonton is to be filled. And dumpling is not a W word. I don't get your problem.
