You should accept Austin Powers (The Spy who Shagged Me) for the "You complete me" quote. That's where I know it from. It leads to a great little rap by Dr. Evil, quite hilarious actually. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcerV0AO0bM
Dr. Evil is referencing Jerry Maguire. Many of these lines were very famous and were parodied or referenced in other works, so not a good idea to start down that path.
Which is surprising since it shows up as often as the rest of these on movie quizzes on this site, although I've seen a few new ones mixed in lately. It would be nice to see more dramas, romcoms, musicals, period and classic films mixed in with all the action, sci-fi, fantasy, and kids' movies that dominate.
Pedantic, to be sure, but although 'Monty Python' works on its own for the Knights who say 'Ni' it shouldn't really be allowed - it's too ambiguous with other movies like Life of Brian or Meaning of Life. Also Charlie and Chocolate Factory works for the Oompa loompa quote but I don't think this was in the Johnny Depp version(?), only the original (which is shown correctly as titled 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory', unlike the book...).
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die
Meanwhile, I can't believe I missed The Goonies.
