People addicted to knowledge and trivia quizzes are generally not nincompoops. It's not like the question was a crossword clue in the "News of the World".
erm I think zero.. I dont think people think it is a planet. If you ask what it is then (general public) they might not know, but they know it is not like the others.
Planet X was a theorized large planet that would explain a disparity in the orbital pattern of the outer gas giants--Uranus and Neptune. The search for Planet X resulted in the location of Pluto, Eris, and several other bodies now called dwarf planets outside Neptune's orbit, but Planet X was never found, as it does not exist. The variance in orbits were explained by more accurate size readings taken by Voyager 2.
Actually, within the past couple of years new evidence has come to light that seems to indicate that Planet X may actually exist. I believe the consensus among astronomers as of August 2016 is that it probably does.
According to Wikipedia, plattitude is correct that Planet X doesn't exist. I think you're referring to what is known as Planet Nine which is different from Planet X.
Planet X was a potential explanation for orbital discrepancies of large planets.
Planet Nine is a potential explanation for highly unusual clustering of ETNOs (objects far beyond Neptune).
These are fundamentally different. As of right now, it appears that Planet Nine's existence is still undetermined but that there is an active search for it. There is also a laundry list of alternative explanations and some research points to the original clustering not existing at all. No consensus appears to exist.
Ironically, one reason for calling it Planet X was that X is the roman numeral for 10. So now it would have to be called Planet IX ("Planet Ix", as in "icks"?)
I vote for "Planetix" sounds nice andretr-futuristic (but cant help thinking of callanetics, in english confusingly (so close yet so far) called callisthenics..)
I've also heard people refer to a fictional planet that will one day collide with Earth as either Nibiru or Planet X. But I think that's a different Planet X.
Not knowing much about Superman, never having been a huge fan of DC in general, all I could think was 'Notpyrk?'
However, being a die-hard Whovian, all I can think is WHERE IS GALLIFREY? WHERE IS RAXACORICOFALLAPATORIUS, which would definitely be hilarious, WHERE IS ANYTHING? Come ON, people!
All I got were the 10 places which actually exist, plus Krypton and Vulcan. I probably should of thought about how I know nothing about Star Wars before expecting to get a good score.
It really reassures my faith in education that 100% of people know that we live on Earth, when less than 20 years ago, 14% of Americans couldn't point to America on a map.
Well, if the question was "which round planet is inhabited by humans". I am sure the score would be muccch lower (actually by two factors, the belief of some that our planet is flat, and people thinking, ow we allready colonised other places, yea I think I heard something about that, where was it again..)
I don't know those planets from the movies, but I know the 8 planets in our solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune ... And I even know 9 Dwarf Planets in our solar system not just...: Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, Eris, Sedna, Quaoar and Orcus there's even another dwarf planet called 2007 or10. Sounds a little interesting. Right?
It's unknown where Yoda is actually from. Dagobah is just where he was hiding for about 20 years. But he's over 900 so not a very significant portion of his life.
Ganymede may also have a liquid water ocean under its icy outer shell, albeit at much deeper levels. Europa (potentially) has the most easily accessible (to us) liquid ocean.
I think Discworld would make a great addition to this quiz. (It really shouldn't be absent in a quiz with fictional planets :) it is the greatest one of all)
This is a nit-pick since everybody calls it Endor, but the name "The Forest Moon of Endor" actually refers to how the moon orbits the planet of Endor, which is actually a cyan gas giant.
Thats the only reason why I remember the planet for Avatar...

"Yes, Clom."
Edit: and now I see Magrathea in the comment above
