Neva and Shannon would be good additions, maybe also Guadiana, Guadalaquivir, Sava, Tisza/Tisa, Vardar/Axios, Meriç/Maritsa/Evros

Nah, if he accepterd guadal then it would be fine still.

Except that there are about two million other rivers in Spain that start with "Guadal..."

Good quiz. Thanks.

Probably because 'guadal' means river, or dry river bed which floods, from the Arabic Wada/waadi, with the same meaning.

Great! I thought it was just Mosel but I am not sure

It's Mosel in German and Moselle in French.

Maybe we could just enjoy the quiz as it is and not constantly demand that additions be made, all based on your own preferences.

The river on the map is the Main, not the Ruhr. Could you also accept Mosel?

Fixed, thanks! And the German spelling of Mosel will work now.

Hey the Rhone comes from the centre of Switzerland not just from lake Geneva! You should correct that, we are still such a tiny country don't take things away from us :)

Given Julius Caesar's famous crossing of the Rubicon, could you maybe add the Rubicon to the quiz?
+5
Level 58
Sep 13, 2017
Why? Why does someone's crossing of a river mean that it should be added to a quiz? Anyway, the river is very small and is unlikely to show up well on the map above - I don't suppose the practicalities and aesthetics of how it would appear on the map even crossed your mind.

Very good quiz, but as others have already commented, you could add some rivers as well. Bug, Evros/Maritsa, Guadalquivir, Guadiana, Axios/Vardar. I still don't understand what was the importance of Inn and Severn though, first time I've heard them,. Don't get me wrong, I've learn something useful at least.
