Not for me. I'm Australian, and I don't know many US capitals. I got 10, though, which I bet is at least 2 more than the number of Australian capitals anyone in the US knows.
You're probably right. Without googling...Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Brisbane? Can't tell you what they are all the capitals of though, I won't lie. (Or if they are even all capitals...ay).
Perth, Western Australia; Darwin, North Territory; Brisbane, Queensland; Sydney, New South Wales; Canberra, Capital Territory; Adelaide, Southern Australia; Hobart, Tasmania; and Melbourne, Victoria. Not hard if you take the 5 minutes to memorize them.
Those of us who live in my area of Missouri have a saying regarding Jeff City. "You can't get to Jeff from here. You have to go somewhere else to begin the journey."
I'm an average typist, average to quite good, and it took me a long time to be able to finish in the time. If it's 'easy', why did only 10% get all 50?
Not really, thinking about it - you only have 50 states to choose from (OK, you only have 50 capitals, but you have to know which cities are capitals, and many are less well known than the states)
I wouldn’t say ironic. U.S. state capitals were often deliberately chosen to be somewhere not the largest city to prevent that city from getting all of the political power.
Not a true knowledge test at all. It's a spelling and typing test. I would get everyone of these but since I'm not a fast typist, I can't get them all.
I got to 59 in 9 :) though the 50s are slooww and I was hardly on for a few months, only back on again since a week or 2. BUt yea, right back to several quizzes a day haha.
That picture of the dome in Augusta with the new copper just doesn't look right. The old soft green before they replaced it looked so much better with all the trees going up the hill behind it.
I need to stop trying this, I’m using an iPhone, have hands like dinner plates and one of my thumbs is knackered from an old injury. Just never going to happen. Congrats to all those with 50/50 with 1:30 to spare... you’ll make someone a fantastic secretary some day! Lol
1st attempt took 90 seconds, but 2nd attempt took 95. Guess I buckled under the pressure to improve. ;) Nice that the order changes every time. Fun quiz!
Fun quiz. I think it needs about 30 more seconds for those of us who aren't the greatest of typers. Unless this is meant to be more of a typing contest.
Good quiz
Lol
