As would any other footballer worth his salt in that same situation. Notice what Jorge Fucile (#4) was attempting to do right alongside Suarez. BAT THE BALL WITH HIS HANDS. Only, Fucile missed. Even Asamoah Gyan of Ghana said after the match that he would've done the exact same thing in that situation. Concede the penalty, take the red card and whatever suspension results and hope for a miracle from your goalkeeper to get you to penalties.
I know I'll get flack for this, but can it at least say "Rumored to take steroids" for Bonds. While I realize that's likely it hasn't been proven while all the others seem to have been substantiated.
He never said he thought he didn't take steroids, he is saying it wasn't confirmed, so therefore the quizmaster should change some stuff. Bonds' thing was substantiated anyway
Clearly it's mostly Americans taking this quiz. Incredibly low %s for Maradona and Zidane, they would get close to 100% in Europe. I only knew a few of the Americans: OJ Simpson, Tiger Woods, Lance Armstrong, Ray Rice
It's an American site ... Kaepernick is still missing even for them, while there are plenty of European doping and other scandals that are missing here.
Wow,you can tell it's mostly Americans on this site. Maradona's handball and Zidane's headbutt are probably the 2 most famous moments in World cup history. Both would be 90%+ in the UK, probably 80%+ in the rest of Europe.
I love footie. Watch the Prem, Euros and WC Qualifiers and Finals. MLS? Not so much. So I knew all about the Hand of God goal and Zidane's losing his mind vs Italy, etc. There is one glaring, and in my opinion, legit, reason why football/soccer doesn't catch on more in the U.S. Diving. Guys get breathed on and collapse like a Las Vegas casino getting demolished. The frustrating part for me is that with current technology, it would be so easy to implement a handful of measures to virtually eradicate it from the game. Most could get past the low scores, but watching guys flopping all over the place in an obvious attempt to manipulate the ref into awarding them a potentially game-deciding penalty or free kick is maddeningly lame. I get past it. But plenty of people just can't.
I don't know the story behind Manti T'eo, but it seems odd that "fake Girlfriend" goes on a list beside multiple murderers and people who committed horrible abuse.
One I would potentially add on here is the Formula 1 "Crashgate" scandal of 2008, where Renault's Nelson Piquet Jr. intentionally crashed out of that year's Singapore Grand Prix on orders of team principal Flavio Briatore to give teammate Fernando Alonso the victory. The events of this would later cost Felipe Massa what would have been his only world championship.
But I then realized the quiz was probably referring to the "Hand of God" game, but I couldn't remember the guy's name. This was the only one I missed.

Surprised Maradona wasn't an acceptable answer for any of the other clues. ;)
