Great point but the "j" in j. jill is not capitalized. I was there today getting something for my wife and happened to notice. My first thought was JCrew, not j. jill

My city used to have Walmart in the mall. That was before I was alive. Now it's Dillard's with an empty garden section. And we have 3 free standing Walmart locations.

Those are primarily department stores and they vary from mall to mall. Depending on the size of the mall, of course, you generally have on average 2 of these stores per mall, whereas the other stores generally exist in most malls.

Those are all department stores that are sometimes attached to malls and called anchors. There might be one or two at either end of a strip mall/shopping center, or between 1-4 or more around the perimeter of a larger indoor shopping mall proper. Along with your Wal*Marts, K-Marts, Kohl's, Lord & Taylors, Sears, etc. But you might consider them stores adjacent to the mall rather than stores *in* the mall...

Yup! I don't think they're as popular as they once were, but they do exist in quite a few malls.

Are you aware that is the case with nearly every quiz in this site?

Though I never look at them. For the most part because im usually on the phone or tablet (where you dont see a picture) but i guess im so used to not have a picture that i dont see them on my laptop? Or it is not in sight but would have to scroll up to see it? I ll pay attention next time

btw i often use random or one of the suggestion at the bottom.

I think its probably time to take Radio Shack off the list. I think they are only a web site now, and they're barely that.

L'Occitane en Provence is not American, like the quiz's description says, it's based in France and was founded by French businessman Olivier Baussan.

I find it fascinating how the mind works. Somehow i answered correctly for barnes and nobles. If you would ask me if i know it i would have said no. It is too specefic to be a guess (i did guess american eagle) so it must have entered my mind somehow...
