New York, New York. Only thing I guessed, but should've known "Love and marriage" from "Married with Children". Never really cared for Sinatra or anything between Wagner and the Beatles, though.
You're missing out on a world of great music; Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, Woody Guthrie, Ella Fitzgerald, The Sons of the Pioneers, Lester Young, Edith Piaf, Aaron Copland, Ray Charles, Thelonious Monk, Chet Baker, Nat King Cole, Hank Williams, Coleman Hawkins, The Andrews Sisters, Miles Davis, Sam Cooke, Johnny Cash, Rogers & Hammerstein, Louis Jordan, Bobby Darin, Scott Joplin, The Mills Brothers, Les Paul, Louis Armstrong, Igor Stravinsky, Lionel Hampton, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Fats Waller, Dean Martin, Little Richard, Buddy Holly, Muddy Waters, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Billie Holiday, The Ink Spots, oh and Frank Sinatra too.
Love this quiz. Most of these songs are standards in my karaoke repertoire. The remarkable thing is no matter what the crowd -- young, old, gay, straight, male, female -- everyone stops and gets into these. And NY, NY is almost a singalong now. My Way is my anthem. So thanks. But I had no idea Sinatra did Send in the Clowns.
There's an 'ever' missing from the lyrics for Luck Be a Lady. And as far as I've ever seen the title of the song is 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered', not just 'Bewitched'.
I saw Francis Albert Sinatra at The Albert Hall in the 90s. I thought it was 1995, but it must have been 1992. He was my dad's favourite of all time. This was pretty easy as a result. Great quiz.
