The hills are alive with the sound of music
Oh what a beautiful mornin' / Oh what a beautiful day
Life is a cabaret, old chum
I'm singin' in the rain / Just singin' in the rain / What a glorious feelin' / I'm happy again
Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down
Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high / There's a land that I heard of, once in a lullaby
I've just met a girl named Maria / And suddenly that name / Will never be the same
Brown paper packages tied up with strings / These are a few of my favorite things
Don't cry for me Argentina / The truth is I never left you
You're the top / You're the Coliseum / You're the top / You're the Louvre Museum
Some enchanted evening, you may see a stranger / You may see a stranger across a crowded room
Seventy-six trombones led the big parade
Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match / Find me a find, catch me a catch
Summertime / And the livin' is easy / Fish are jumpin' / And the cotton is high
To dream the impossible dream / To fight the unbeatable foe

Missed Matchmaker (even though seen Mrs Doubtfire loads of times) and You're the Top. Guessed I love Paris even though never heard of it!

West Side Story is my all-time favorite movie. No other movie has even come close to making such a lasting impact on me.

I only got "Summertime" because of it being included in Sublime's "Doin' Time". Not real proud of knowing Sublime better than Gershwin.

Man, I knew this was Porgy and Bess, but couldn't remember the specifics. Great song!

I was sitting here singing the entire song, except for the title. It just flew out of my brain.

"Rodney's on the microphone with Ross and G". Not in the original song?

Got 'em all! I can always count on Broadway Musicals......

Sorry, but Summertime isn't from a musical. It's from Porgy and Bess which is an OPERA!!! Even though it is by George Gershwin I wish people would stop calling it a musical. It isn't. Otherwise, great quiz.

It may be nitpicky, but "The Impossible Dream" is officially titled "The Quest." Never mind, it's a fun quiz and a good inclusion, but if this whole site isn't about pedantry and nitpickiness...

I was delighted to see this song there though (partly cause I knew it and partly cause I love it!) :)

Learned The Impossible Dream in kindergarten, fell in love with musicals and never looked back.

Another quiz where reading the instructions and not the title would have helped immensely. I thought answer was the name of musical as well. I spent a good 90 seconds trying to figure out how the answer for number 2 wasn't Oklahoma or if there was a sequel with that title.
