Typically there is a hip-hop song that I miss, but I actually got a 100% on this one! Woo Hoo. Although i tried "Millionaire" and when that didn't work tried changing the 'M' to a 'B.' Also, LOL @ "On Top of Spaghetti."
I don't actually know the song, but I figured out it was "Welcome to the _____", and then just starting plugging things in. Unfortunately, once "Welcome to the Terrordome" crossed my little brain, I was fixated, and could come up with nothing else.
I got 9 and while that wasn't enough to get me any points I'm super proud of it. A couple of years ago I used to get one or two per quiz if I was lucky. I've started to listen to music a lot more since then and I'm glad that my knowledge has expanded :).
Fewer people got the Smoke on the Water lyric. It was one of two I missed, even though I'm quite familiar with Deep Purple and Smoke on the Water. I don't think a conclusion about the relative notoriety of Corey Hart versus Deep Purple is a sound one.
I actually have that Deep Purple album, and hate That Corey Hart song. I blanked on Smoke on the Water, and got Sunglasses. I'm still mad at myself, but there's usually at least one song that I know really well that I just blank on.
I kept saying "On top of old smokey all covered with Cheese". It wasn't until I looked up and yes there is "On Top of old Smokey", which I guess, is where they got "On top of Spaghetti". I never heard "On Top of Old Smokey" until now.
I only got one of these because my memory is worse than the percy jackson movies. It was on top of spagetti, i sang it at my school talent show when I was 5 😅
The second PJO movie isn't that bad on its own. If it wasn't connected to one of the best series' of all time (in my opinion), then it would probably be a lot better in anyone's eyes.
The first one, however, is just a dumpster fire in every way.
It didn't do badly for a last minute filler track though...
Less snarky - the lyric 'We are the champions' occurs three times in the song, only after the last instance is 'of the world' dropped.
That's really saying something.
