Is Atlanta's the only aquarium in the United States that has a whale shark? Not sure how you're supposed to get that one otherwise.

I have to agree. I've been to Atlanta, and the skyline looks nothing at all like a whale shark.

This is a better clue than the skyline, which is kind of generic in my opinion. Lots of cities in the U.S. have a few skyscrapers. Only one has a whale shark.

It's also the largest aquarium in the country.

What happens is that air gets so thick with humidity that we actually have whale sharks swimming through our city. So yes, this is accurate.

Yes, I believe it is.

I went with San Diego, Boston and Baltimore. I guess I should've headed inland for the obvious answers like Shedd, Sea World and Atlanta.

I would have gotten Atlanta from a pic of the Coca Cola headquarters. I admit bias.

The only reason I got Newport was because I thought the aquarium picture was Newport Aquarium in northern Kentucky

I got to the 4th question and put in "San " and completely blanked on what the rest of the city name was. It's San something. San... Clemente? San... Gabriel? San...s Serif? Just wouldn't come today.

Why does the first quiz have yellow box but this does not?

Newport seems like a place where real life "Get Out" situations occur

"Man, this big city has no distinguishing features whatsoever. What's a big U.S. city with nothing distinctive about it?"

NAILED IT.

Detroit?

The GM tower gives that one away.

I was actually referring to the one down and to the right of Detroit (as jm says, the Renaissance Center is pretty recognizable). I just thought it was funny that I got to that one and thought, "I'm going to try guessing cities without distinctive landmarks," and it turned out to be the first one I tried.

Oh, that's pretty clever. Atlanta does have a boring skyline.

Atlanta's and Detroit's most prominent buildings for the past several decades are identical twins, both built as Westin Hotels.

I mean, it is a cowboy with a texas flag patterned shirt. Since Houston, Austin, and San Antonio were already used in previous quizzes in the series, and El Paso wasn't accepted, there was really only one viable option unless they wanted to crack into smaller, sub-400k cities.

That Dallas pic is pretty vague if you don't think Six Flags.

Technically the Mall was even more deserted at Biden's inaugural (but that was under different circumstances).

That's one hell of a forced perceptive shot of Denver. That's Longs Peak (background), which is 60 miles away from the airport (foreground).

I was just thinking the exact same thing! The mountains in the picture appear much too close to the airport. Might want to change the picture.

It's like those thoroughly ridiculous "super moon" pictures, when the moon appears about 1.07 times wider in diameter than normal, so everyone posts pictures of a telephoto moon 12 times the size of a barn in the "foreground".

Man, I got stuck on Salt Lake City. I was going, "What city is filled with so many religious nuts that it needs a giant 'screw you' cathedral?" Yeah, it makes sense now.
