I liked the factoid about Camden being the poorest city in the richest state! It made me want to look up the richest city in the poorest state, which apparently is Madison, MS!

Just missed Overland Park, which is very close to the threshold. Wasn't sure if it was more of a wealthy or poor suburb of Kansas City and guessed wrong.

Overland Park is only 3% above our threshold for "rich", but it's 72% above our threshold for "poor". So it's not really a close call.

Still, that is one of the harder questions...

It would be interesting to see this same list adjusted for cost of living.

Extremely pedantic, but Bethesda is an unincorporated census-designated place, not a city. An alternative "rich" city in the DC area would be Alexandria, VA.

Alexandria is definitely a rich city overall but it has it's share of "not so rich" areas.

You are correct that Bethesda is more of a wealthy suburban enclave than a proper city.

It sounded like a place that would be full of white christians, so rich was best guess. Odd, as Bethesda chapels in Wales tend to be in pretty poor places.

I went through this whole quiz guessing my way through based on the state. Some states I immediatly dumped into the poor section (Alabama) and rich section (Massachusetts), everything else guessed by how classy the name sounds

Damn, how are families in Camden & Cleveland surviving on less than 40k a year? Is cost of living cheaper there?

I motion that we all stop referring to people or places as 'rich' or 'poor' and start saying 'diamond' or 'toast', per the thumbnail. Who's with me?
