I doubt NASA ever used roman numerals for those missions... They did for some of the Saturn rockets they used, though.

In normal people reality, the World Trade Center isn't even the tallest building in New York City. They include a 400-foot pencil thin spire as building height. Meanwhile you could go to the roof of other buildings and look right over the WTC if they were side by side.

It all comes down to one tiny group of people out of 8 billion on Earth, the entirely self-appointed "Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat" who strive to promote themselves with attention seeking press releases on over exaggerated new building heights.
