Michigan's closest point is on Isle Royale in the middle of Lake Superior.

Mercator's mysterious map meridians mess with my mind on Moscow to Michigan, man.

How is Pennsylvania closer than New Jersey?

Being further north seems to be as important as east. The lines get smaller as you approach the poles.

Yeah, but the spot where Pennsylvania is northernmost is pretty much exactly where Ohio is northernmost.

New York's southern border is equal to Ohio's northernmost point. Erie County, PA goes about 19 miles further north than Ohio's northernmost point.

The original crows didn't, but now all of them are drones working for the government so it's entirely within their capabilities.

No crow is flying from New York to Moscow either. New Jersey is much closer and much easier to scavenge.

I'd love to see the curve drawn on a map of 7456 km from Moscow, to see how it clips each of these states

I was surprised the curve bends the way it does (considering a circle around Moscow), but that says a lot about how our map projections distort the curvature of the earth.

That's what I thought, along with Delaware and Maryland. I also tried West Virginia, but no luck. I also tried Hawaii; I understand how only 40% of people got Michigan.

It probably has to do with how it has a point further north than most of the Northeastern states. I used to live in Michigan btw

I've seen this on many other quizzes, but I find it strange that "nyc" is a type-in for New York (State).

the order doesn't make sense till you look at a perspective from the north pole rather then a flat map
