I don't think Farmville has any place on this list. And did you really need 3 Mario games? You've got so many games to choose from, and there are 3 (arguably 4) games with the same character. Fallout, Saints Row, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, just to name a few.

The protagonist of Dead Space isn't even a regular soldier let alone a supersoldier. He's an engineer that ends up trapped on a spaceship with aliens.

Was it just me or could the Mortal Kombat one been literally any fighting game. I mean I got it, but after typing in like tekken, dead or alive, street fighter... I mean a ton of games could fit the description I think

Yes, but it clearly says "deadly" tournament, not simply a nonlethal one. And the fate of the Earth is at stake, which isn't the case in your other suggested games that could fit.

Or, you know, you know, you could have solely used games that have actual plots, thereby eliminating the need for quotations around the word plot. Not everything quiz on video games needs Mario in it.

Excluding too many people. The StarCraft clue doesn't have anything to do with the real plot, which is pretty complex, but a collection of keywords people can guess the game from.

Havent heard about atleast 6 of them. I expected space invaders, (btw where is pong and frogger ;) ) myst, dukenukem, I even thought of montezuma's revenge (I think the archeologist+puzzle triggered that, dont ask me where it came form, I must ve played it at 8years old. Just had to check if it was actually a game name, saw the pic and I vaguely remember it now). I guess because the first few I got were mario, donkeykong and mortal kombat, I thought most would be from that era.

There are multiple battleroyale games. According to the hint "100 players airdrop into an area and battle until only one remains." Player Unknowns Battlegrounds (PUBG) should also be a correct answer for instance.

The Fortnite clue also applies to Player Unknown's Battle Grounds (which was also very popular and predated Fortnite) and Apex Legends. Something more specific (something about dancing?) could improve the clue.
