Eve was created from Adam's rib

She must have been tiny. Hard to imagine how they were able to successfully reproduce.

Har har. Think about this. Women have one more rib than men do. Hmmm... could this mean something?

Level 75

Umm... no they don't. that is a myth, based on the story of adam and eve. go ahead and count your ribs, you most likely have the same number as any female that you compare with. Some people do have one more or less rib, but this happens to both men and woman and it has nothing to do with the creation story

It means something that you posted this, cookie, but probably not what you think. Also, if Eve was created from just a single rib (I always assumed it was at least half a rib cage) she must have been even more petite than I thought.

It's the colour of the Dutch royal family, the House of Orange.

To be fair if you follow any sports this is something that would jump straight into your head. They play in orange kits for football etc, first thing that comes to mind when you see an orange football crowd is Holland.

I actually thought of orange zest (for cooking) but couldn't get striped prison uniforms out of my head. That's the way they were always depicted in old movies, not orange.

Ha ha, it was hard. There weren't really any easy ones, like giveaways.

I can see all the reasons for the hints now, except "mint condition" and "cherry" - never heard of that; it must be North American.

with olympics and jewelry all I could think of was ring(s). When the answer came up I still didn't get what it had to do with 1849, had to look it up.

I missed 3 other answers and the only other clues that still didn't ring a bell after seeing the answers were Knight and Boil. (I knew I was supposed to be thinking of "the other Armstrong, but my mind stayed blank)

Edit, well and cherry actually (I know "a cherry on top" but I suppose that is not what it is referring to, since that means something/ a situation made even better, a happy bonus, not something in pristine condition. Well basically icing on the cake :D I suppose the cherry here in this quiz is the opposite of a lemon, which I hadn't heard of either a few years ago. )
