Darn. Out of the 6 I missed, 2 I knew but couldn't remember the name, Vaughn I kept spelling "Vaughan" and if I hadn't been so tired, I would have remembered that there were older versions of both Manchurian Candidate and Ocean's Eleven and thought of Sinatra. Oh well. Good mind stretching, those quiz :).

Oh come on! Only 32% of you got Burt Reynolds. Sterling Archer would be pissed if he knew!

You didn't even succeed at that sentence. It's "would have."

Really? Less than half knew Sidney Poitier?

Unfortunate - but remember, his most acclaimed roles were from the late 1950's and 1960's. Since then he primarily been a diplomat, and done more work behind the camera then in front of it.

"In the Heat of the Night" and "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" are absolute must-see movies, especially the latter. Poitier is tremendous.

Why are so many quizzes being reset that don't need to be? If the data changes that is one thing but "who starred in that movie?" didn't need to be reset causing yet another loss of points.

I don't have a problem with it, especially when it's a short quiz like this one. Jetpunk points are all well and good, but for me they are ancillary; I take quizzes on here because I think it's fun to do so. Rather than looking at a reset quiz as a loss of points, I see it as a fresh opportunity to test my knowledge.

I actually think the quiz made more sense in the previous form, without the "1960" being added to the "Oceans Eleven" clue. A trivia enthusiast is alert to context clues... so if they already know in the back of their mind that the George Clooney version was a remake, but they just weren't thinking of it, then the other two movies listed in the clue will tip them off to that fact. Whereas anyone who wasn't even aware of the existence of the original film isn't going to know who was in it whether they're given the year or not.

Also weird because there was also a remake of the Manchurian Candidate (Liev Schreiber and Denzel Washington, if I recall correctly) that came out not long after the Ocean's 11 remake. It's odd to denote that one of the Sinatra films is an original, but not both.

I couldn't remember Poitier's name to save my life. I kept getting stuck on Hercule Poirot but i knew THAT wasn't right lol.
