lol sawmos! To be fair I had a hard time with that one as both clues were types of lettuces. Would have been much easier if the clue had been chard, kale, etc....
You might want to look that up again. Actually neither is a type of lettuce although they are often used in combination with or as a substitute for lettuce.
Oh, this quiz was damn near perfect! My only complaint is the clue for Dallas; the "a" in "Dale" is most definitely long, so even though I had both clue parts, I could not get the answer. I didn't even stop to think that the pronunciation could have been that far afield, since every other one was just so PERFECTLY spot on! Might I maybe suggest "doll" – or even better, "dal", the Indian lentil dish – as possible alternatives?
I'm pretty sure the clue with the cheerleaders and arthur president works for Winchester as well...but I don't hang out with many cheerleaders, so who knows what they say
I knew all the cities but, being British, it was challenging working out some of the US pronunciations (which I'm sure vary quite a bit across the country anyway.
Referring to Jethro Tull as a musician (singular) is misleading as it was the name of the band, not any of the individuals in the band. Also, trial lawyers aren't typically the "suing" lawyers. That is generally handled by civil litigation lawyers. A little nitpicky, I understand.
There were 5 Rescue Rangers: Chip, Dale, Gadget, Monty, and Zipper.
Hit 'em in the head and knock 'em down!

Cheerleaders says 'Ra' don't they? :)
