I think "Quito" should be accepted too, because I heard there are horses there. Also, "taquito", because I think a horse might like to eat that. // Seriously, people? These are clues to an *answer*, not free association prompts!

Okay, but at least accept horsepuqey.

No, because equestrian is about the rider, not about the horse. Bovine has nothing to do with someone riding a cow.

Accept "roque" for game played with a mallet? I don't think anyone would ever actually guess that, but any allusion to The Shining almost demands to be included.

Couldn't think of opaque for the longest time. And it didn't take "blaque" which, imho, would be better than taking "equestrian" for "equine"

Equinoxes are not "opposite" of the solstices.

Solstices have the largest difference in the length of day and night, equinoxes have the smallest difference. That works quite well as opposites for me.

Not to get particular but the sequoia isn't the tallest tree. The giant sequoia grows inland in California and it is thicker but shorter. The Coastal Redwood, however, grows on the coast and is the tallest tree in the world. They are really similar but not the same! Great question anyways.
