Who'd have thought a diet of fried bars bars and heroin would do such a thing?
I think you'll find it's "Weegies".
And for the record, I've never seen a deep fried Mars Bars in my life, and Trainspotting (heroin) was Edinburgh, not Glasgow, so get your clichés right.
deep fried mars bars are a thing of beauty, although I know a chippy in Stonehaven (Aberdeenshire) which claims to have invented them... but perhaps this particular weegie has eaten so many that glasgow's average consumption is higher
The other clues certainly suggest that those aren't the responses, but the first two definitely are applicable to multiple cities.
