I'm slightly annoyed that MLB hasn't moved the Miami Marlins to the American Leauge (why not switch them with the Tampa Bay Rays?) for at least the 2015 season to get the Miami/Cubs World Series Back to the Future II promised us back in 1989. It's not like there's no precedent: the Brewers switched to the NL from the AL in 1998, 2-years ago the Astros left the NL for the AL. So why couldn't MLB and its new commissioner have given us this one thing? We don't really ask for much!
Atlanta sticking it to the MLB suits (in the best way possible) for cynically ripping away the All Star game. "I guess we'll just have to win the whole thing then..." :-)
Aw man… I feel like everyone would’ve been happier if the Phillies won. Can’t say that the Astros didn’t outplay them, though. No-hitter in game 4 and a much better field game in game 5.
It gives you the team they beat. If you know baseball at all, you know which team is in which league, so that means you only have 15 options for each answer. And if you know baseball at all, you know which teams could not possibly be answers during certain periods. Beyond that, it only goes back 25 years. I'm a big baseball fan, and got all 25 without really stopping to think. A more casual baseball fan might miss one or two, but if you get three strikes, then yes, for this quiz, it is appropriate that you lose, because you don't know much about recent baseball history.
New mode was fun. I put 'Yanks' into 2010 (was a year off), and it gave me a whammy, which I thought was the quiz not liking that spelling, so I put in 'Yankees' and got a second whammy for the same answer. Made for a very nervous second column :)

I've always been dissatisfied with this quiz because you can just copy/paste "Yankees" into every box, then keep trying with other teams.
Now, you actually have to know the answers.
