These are the most common place names in the USA, according to http://citypopulation.de/.
It's harder than I thought it would be. Don't be discouraged if you don't get many.
The categories include:
State
Region - Counties, Parishes, and Census Areas
Townships
Local - Cities, Towns, Boroughs, Villages, Precincts, and Unorganized Territories.
Neighborhoods within cities are not included.
Unique names are counted separately. That means that Whoville, West Whoville, Whoville Heights, and Whoville Upper Falls don't count as the same name.
I got 52 on my first go. Most-guessed one that I missed was Richmond, which I'm disappointed I didn't guess as I once lived in a Richmond. I've also lived in a Davis and a Centreville and I'm surprised those don't make the cut; I guessed both of them.
And more surprised that 4% of people guessed it!
