Some surprising data. Sintra is probably the second municipality of the country, but there are multiple cities like Queluz or Rio de Mouro. Although Algarve is one of the most prosperous regions of the country, none of its cities makes it to the top25. Who would have thought it?

Although it seems unlikely, Faro has a proper population of 41307. If you visit the city from June to September the seasonal population rises to almost 250000; metro area adds up to 450000, number close to 1.5 million in the same period.
