According to Wikipedia, Antonia is the feminine version of Antonio (which is Anthony in romance languages). I made a decision to only include the feminine versions from the same language family. If I have to include every version from every language, the whole thing will be get out of hand and I'll have to quit my job to edit this quiz full time.
Siobhán is actually the Irish version of Jane, and Siân is the Welsh version of Jane, from the Old French Jehanne, and so they are feminine versions of John, not Shawn. That technicality aside, I decided not to include equivalents from languages other than English to avoid having hundreds of type-ins.
Bert and Bertha would most likely be nicknames for AlbertaAgree for AngelinaI've never heard of Robert being a female nameFrancis is a male name (peaking at #443 for baby boys in the US in 2000, but not making the top #1000 for girls). The female version is Frances -- which is accepted -- which peaked at #416 for baby girls in the US in 2020Maxine was #737 for baby girls in the US in 2020, and Geraldine was #964 in 2011There's no S in Marcia. If you meant T instead of C, "Martia" has not been in the top 1000 names for baby girls in the US for any year of birth beginning with 2000.
Siobhan and Sian are the feminine forms of Sean (Shawn), btw. I got Shawna, but those are legit too.
-Bert and Bertha should be accepted for Albert
-Angelina should be accepted for Angel
-Robert should also be allowed Bert and Bertha
-Francis should be allowed for Frank
-I've never met or even heard of a Maxine or Geraldine so consider removing those
-Marcia should be spelled witha T instead of S
You don't need to make the corrections, its still a really fun quiz without but consider making the changes.
