I don't think Bart invented the phrase "damned if you do, damned if you don't". People have been saying it for ages, haven't they? It was a tricky one bcz I thought shakespeare must have came up with it but it seems it's just a common saying. I thought the premise was that these are Bart's original lines? Anyway, nice quiz :)

I never said he invented it. I don't think Bart invented "I am a pawn" either. Shakespeare probably wasn't the first to say "Let's kill all the lawyers". I make no guarantee that any of these are original quotes of William Shakespeare or Bart Simpson. The only thing I warrant is that they said those things, and I provide citations to prove it.
