I've been doing some research after taking this quiz and I'm surprised at how many cities in Maryland are unincorporated. Makes this quiz really tough.

I guess you answered your own question re Columbia - called a city, but unincorporated. Try some of my other state quizzes - up to about 25 now posted.

Weird that a state with almost 6 million people only has one city with more than 70,000 inhabitants.

Shouldn't Silverspring be on here? It's the 4th most populated city in Maryland as well as Colombia which is second.

Like ColUmbia, Silver Spring is unincorporated - just a CDP or Census Designated Place. Only 26% of Maryland's people live in an incorporated city, town or village.
