Name the 16 leading U.S. States in Crude Oil Distillation capacity in currently operating units at refineries on January 1st 2019, all of whom had capacity exceeding 200,000 barrels per calendar day. There has been one state added since 2016.
3 currently idle but operable refineries are excluded from the data.
Capacities in barrels per calendar day (rounded to nearest 100 bpcd).
Total U.S. capacity was 18,692,300 bpcd at 132 operating refineries in 28 states.
This is an increase of 527,100 bpcd from 7 less refineries in 5 less states since 1/1/2016.
