I know, that's why I added "Clue gives the country they ruled/affected in any way, not necessarily the country of origin!". I assumed that most people would rather know about his career in Cuba than about his birthplace.

Pope John Paul II should defenetly be there. Also Augusto Pinochet, Carl Gustav Emil Mannerheim, Slobodan Milosevic, Margaret Thatcher, Hosni Mubarak, Hugo Chavez and Nicholas II of Russia or perhaps Grigori Rasputin... Nice quiz still.

Thanks :) I agree with you on most of these, although I think that they did not include Mubarak because there are already two Egyptian politicians on the list. Chavez came to power in 1999, so he's not really a politician of the 20th century.

I got 34. I knew of about 25 others and the rest is more or less never heard or at least not ringing any loud bells. Great quiz!

Thank you :) Yes, it is quite tricky, I hadn't heard of all of them before I had read the book. Names like Bandaranaike or Erlander were completely new to me.

Wow I don’t like that King and fuevara are in there. Should at least be specified they never ruled their country (at least King didn’t). Missed thatcher for some reason lol but still a solid 62

Could you make the type-ins more forgiving? E.g. "Abdulaziz" for ibn-Saud, and easier spellings for Ceaucescu and Clemenceau, Hammarskjold, Mitterrand, Khrushchev and such.
