Hi Marvel ...... From Australia, although I have lived and worked in several other countries: For my thinking, a Prawn is a larger creature then a shrimp. The 'Shrimps' I've had in many countries are about 3cm or so before cooking whereas Prawns are 10cm or more and one Prawns meat is worth about 15 shrimp meats.
