I've read it and was really unimpressed. Others seem to love it though, so maybe it's a marmite book.

It's not my favorite Vonnegut by any means, but it's a lot more recognizable than, say, Player Piano or Cat's Cradle.

The Grapes of Wrath gets used for way more quizzes, I wanted Steinbeck's other best-known work to have its moment.

Could you allow "Mme. Bovary"? It is a French book, and that is how it is abbreviated in French. Just as English speakers would not expect to have to write out "Missus Dalloway".
