Canada's Motor City can also be Oshawa located on Lake Ontario. In Ontario, Sault Ste Marie is spelled with an "e" which is the proper French spelling. Also, there's a provincial park in Ontario known as Sandbanks which would fit your clue.

I typed Sault Ste Marie but it wasn't accepted. You need to fix your spelling for that and St Lawrence. Enjoyed the quiz, though.

Um - I think you have Erie and Ontario confused. I live in Michigan - I'm pretty sure.
