I should explain, ha ha. Most of the countries I used to mix up seem to run west to east or north to south in alphabetical order. It works for many confusable countries, like Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania or Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.

Both Eswatini and eSwatini are correct spellings, eSwatini is how it's written in the Swazi language.

Suriname is pretty easy to remember because the Guyanas (the Republic and the French region) do not share a border, thanks to it

I think you could add Armenia/Azerbaijan/Georgia to this. Not sure if the data supports it but I would suspect it’s an area of confusion.

I got it because the -stan countries (except Afghanistan and Pakistan) go clockwise in alphabetical order starting from Kazakhstan at 12 o'clock.

The 2 Congos, the 3 Guineas (not counting PNG), Slovenia & Slovakia, the 3 "Saints" in the Antilles, and pretty much every Pacific nation that isn't Australia and NZ.

Suriname / Guyana used to trip me up.

Then Venezuela decided to try to annex most of Guyana.

Sadly, now its easy.
