The British citizenship test consists of 24 questions, and you have 45 minutes to complete it. To pass, you must get 75% of the questions right, or 18 questions.
Definitely the hardest one of the three I've seen so far. I still would have passed it, though (had I been living in the UK for 5 years). Some questions are extremely easy for everyone who's familiar with western european culture, while others seem very specific for no reason. Interesting!
Brit here, I'm confused at the question which says elections are every 5 years, I believe they are 4 years. There was on in 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024 (2020 was cancelled tho due to covid)
I don't know where you're getting those dates from, but they're wrong. They were in 2005, 2010, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2024. (In 17 and 19 elections were called early).
For a period of about a decade (presumably when the question above was written), the Fixed Term Parliaments Act set Westminster elections to be every 5 years.
This was repealed a few years ago via the Dissolution and Calling of Parliament Act, meaning the Government can call a general election whenever it chooses.
The question is now incorrect really - it would be better to ask something along lines of "What is the maximum length of time permitted between UK general elections", which is 5 years.
I don't know if Scottish banknotes are technically legal tender in the whole country, but I know that many businesses in England and Wales don't accept them. Maybe just have the question read "Scotland has its own banknotes"?
Women granted the vote in 1918 had to be 30 ( men 21) and had to own property

The pandemic peaked just after the December 2019 snap general election. Good job the GE wasn't called three months later...!
