I read the instructions wrong and thought white was closer for some stupid reason. Spent like 10 attempts guessing around the pacific and South America.....
Just a suggestion, is it possible to expand the range of reds used? I'm having a little trouble distinguishing between the dark reds near the the answer country so I end up going a little in the wrong direction :)
My time is 0.75 seconds. I think it's a good time. I really want to see a random version for this to prevent this kind of speedrun, and it would also be epic fun.
You automatically get 196 if you guess the mystery country. So let's say 2/3 of people were guessing around 15 and not getting it, and 1/3 figured out the country (regardless of how many tries), that would work out to an average of 75.
Slower+Vein+A. Ah, I get it. However, the aorta serves as a central artery, as it connects to three main arteries to delver blood to the body. On the other hand, veins deliver blood back to the heart via the superior and inferior vena cavas.
I just figured out how to make a randomized version. To reduce lag, I would plan on it having a maximum of ten results. I'm collaborating the quiz with you now.
Very fun quiz, even though the idea is taken from another quiz site. Could we maybe have 90 seconds of time? There are a lot of countries in Europe and theyre all red!
Time was up when the clock ran out. Red countries do nothing special, they just show you where to find the mystery country. This country is a type-in for every country, so everything will light up, and you'll know.
thanks. i hope it doesn't come across as 'stealing' since this quiz took a long time to make, and a while to figure out how to make it function properly! :)
I played a quiz on another website called Sporcle which is the exact same concept as this. Did you get inspiration from that or have you never heard of it?
I did indeed get inspiration from it, but I made sure to make the quiz as distinct as possible from it in order for it to not be classified as 'stealing'. For example, the entire color coding is different, the mystery country is different, the data is different, and the functionality is slightly different. Also, a randomized version is coming out soon (which does not exist on the "other" quiz website), and the city version does not either.
Amazing quiz. I really love how the "You Lost! Try again" message pops up if you lose. Orcspel is gonna get mad when they see this 'cause they had this idea first. Lol.
Also, you now have more subs than us and when (when, not if) the randomized version goes on the front page it might get more takes than Win the U.S. Presidential Election did
I cannot imagine a scenario where it wouldn't. I know I'll probably take it at least fifty times in the first month of its existence and nominate it immediately
I just tried to do that and it exceeds the 512 max character limit for a series description. However if he releases a sequel and puts them into a series the url will be shorter so I can link that
It said an unknown error occured, probably because I linked both a jetpunk url and tinyurl however i can edit them to all have a tinyurl so i'll do that soon (since i gtg now)
country near italy austria and croatia, ex-yugoslav republic that is mistaken by slovakia, because it starts with slov and ends in ia and has the same number of letters
wow i am very dumb i thought this was the random one and so was laughing my ass off when I got slovenia 12 times in a row and then realized how stupid I looked
Fun idea, but the shades of red are simply too close together to be of much use. Why limit it to reds? Why not the whole rainbow? I guessed central Europe, which appears to be as red as it gets on the little scale, only to discover it was a middle eastern country. A little frustrating.
Just a suggestion, is it possible to expand the range of reds used? I'm having a little trouble distinguishing between the dark reds near the the answer country so I end up going a little in the wrong direction :)
Thanks!
US states version when?hopefully QM will put it in the series sometime...*shudders at thought of having our record beaten*
