I think you intended to write "heering". The ceremonious horde of the letter will be respected here. Never will I use the letter in question--give them completely to the stupendous city for Red Heroes!
The legend goes: The Chosen One of his millions of children will find the last letter and will unite the five-or-so people in the country under the first letter of the elphebet.
All the really obscure ones were popping to the fore of my brain as well, for some reason. Got Palikir instead of Paris, Bujumbura instead of Beijing, etc.
I doubt that that statement is true, Kal. Bujumbura hasn't been the capital of Burundi for a while and isn't in this quiz.... You may have thought of it, but you'd still have to type something else to actually get B.
I realized this the moment I hit submit, thought about editing the comment, then decided to leave it to see how long it would take someone to catch it. Apparently less than a day. Anyway, it was just an example. I don't remember exactly which ones I typed.
It might have been accepted. I accidently typed Astana and got Nur-Sultan.
For some reason, all the "stan" capitals came to mind. Astana got me N, Ashgabat got me A, then Bishkek, Dushanbe, Islamabad, Kabul, and Tashkent. I didn't even do it consciously.
Because it isn't the official capital, just the economic capital of Benin, although it does have more government buildings than Porto-Novo, which only has the National Legislature.
I love this quiz because you can type in different names when retaking. It is interesting that sometimes the most "obscure" names pop into your head instead of the obvious ones.
It's still the capital of Armenia, but I usually see it spelled with a Y. According to Wikipedia the city is sometimes called Erevan, but on Jetpunk the official name is Yerevan.

Half of my heart is in Havana, ooh na na.
He took me back to East Atlanta, na-na-na,
Oh but my heart is in Havana
My brain: Yaren! lol

One question though, why is there no Cotonou?
(unless mentioned otherwise, like with a caveat "includes non sovereign countries")
I only wish that after you type a correct answer it would show all the correct answers - in small font maybe.
I spent way too long trying to respell it without accents
It's "Yakarta" in Spanish, for me it's "Tel Aviv" and it's "Yuba" in Spanish.
No wonder why it took me so long to come up with one of those 😂😂
