Stewart sent me the paragraph of your email concerning your translation of "Random Point on Land to Country". I had heard of you before since we are both working on the Country Quizzes project. I've taken some of your quizzes and I have to say I am impressed by the amount of work you put in translations. It seems to me that you are an important reason why the spanish section of JetPunk is still thriving to this date. I have some notions of spanish (it's very close to my native language & I studied it during my high school years) but I obviously couldn't have translated it better than you have.
However, it seems that another user mass-translated my quiz into most featured languages before I even had enough time to do so, just to take advantage of my work. I now feel like I should "protect my intellectual property" by translating quizzes for my own account, even though I'm aware that it is a fairly greedy way of seeing things. (please read part 2)
Nevertheless, I understand that you do not mean any harm at all. On the contrary, I'm persuaded that you are only doing this for the sake of all spanish-speaking quiztakers. And, at least, you speak spanish unlike the other user I won't mention... I would like things to go according to what you suggested in your email, ie transferring the quiz to my account and mentioning you in the caveats. In exchange, I can offer to translate your quizzes into french whenever you need it, in the same way I've been helping Stewart for more than a year now. Of course those french quizzes would be published on your account. All I would need if you agree to this "mutual help" deal is a way to contact you, whether it be an email address, a discord account or anything else. If you don't want to send it on a public quiz but would still like me to know how to contact you, feel free to ask Stewart to forward it to me.
Hoping this could be the beginning of a fruitful cooperation,
I agree with your mutual help deal, it would help both of us have higher quality quizzes. I used to Google translate a bunch of my quizzes into French, and later realized it was wrong, but now you can improve the quizzes translations. My email is jakeatalk@gmail.com. I once had a Discord account and actually was on the JetPunk Discord a long time ago, but I deleted it last month.
