That said, once I figured the category out, I mostly liked the quiz. The one thing I would definitely consider changing is either which country is final or which hints are leading up to it. It's not a particularly obvious inclusion in the category, and the hint of "it's in Africa" that the last 4 clues give is not very helpful. Even something as simple as the penultimate question being "Only remaining landlocked country" would help (as that country is much more obvious).
I also think you could use a couple questions like "the least densely populated country remaining" or "the northernmost country remaining", in short, superlatives. It would help the questions from getting a bit "samey".
Also you might want to say "Changed [the name of] its capital from Astana to Nur-Sultan... then back to Astana"
