Sorry typo. The Vatican City doesnt have an army, it maintains a Corps for policing, and the Swiss Guard belongs to the Holy See, not the the Vatican City itself. The Italian military protects it informally from the outside, but the Vatican City as its own country possesses no national armed forces.
