There are 19 member states of the European Union that have adopted the euro as their currency. Below is a list of all the former currencies these countries used prior to 1999 (when the monetary union was launched). Name the country to which each of the following former currencies belonged.
Four European microstates outside the EU have adopted the euro as their currency and signed a monetary agreement with the EU. These countries are NOT included here.
Two countries outside the EU, Montenegro and Kosovo, unilaterally adopted the euro as their currency without a monetary agreement with the EU. These countries are NOT included here.
I would recommend a yellow box addition, now it is pretty easy to just type all the euro countries, instead of basing them on their former currency. I like the quiz tho!
Glad you enjoyed it.
