Thanks! Those regions in China are Mengjiang, that was invaded by Soviet forces in 1945, and Xinjiang, that was controlled by Red Army troops as part of the Kumul rebellion in 1934. (I might reconsider the inclusion of that region, however.) Mongolia was essentially a protectorate of the USSR in the 1920s. (I might have to reconsider that, too.) And yes, West Berlin should be excluded.

Oh, interesting. If Mongolia is to be removed though, I think Mengjiang should probably be removed too since it was a joint invasion by the Soviet and Mongol Red Armies.
