I second this. Ratzenberger and Senna both died on the same circuit one day apart. He should be accepted too, unless the clue is changed to "Brazilian Formula One driver".
It does not claim the be the world's first republic, but merely the oldest. Oldest already implies extant, unless you think the world's oldest person is 200,000 years old.

Well, "castle" is already an acceptable answer for the municipality question. And you're far more likely to notice three towers in the coat of arms than the mountains (which aren't even mountains, they're summits of the same mountain).
The Ayrton Senna question seems a tad distasteful to me. His death has only a nominal connection to San Marino. Is there really not a less repugnant question you can find?
