Find The Mystery Country By Hints

There is one mystery country. Naming another country will give you a clue based on the color that the country you typed in turns to. Color codes:

Black - Same first letter

Yellow - Same landmass (Americas, Afro-eurasia)

Red - Same continent

Blue - Same last letter

There can also be a combination of colors, so for example if it has the same last letter and is in the same continent as the mystery country, it will be purple because red+blue makes purple.

It turned green cuz yellow+blue=green. So it started with the same letter and was in the same landmass. If I can figure out how to make a randomized version I can definitely do that

This quiz is really cool, but picking a country with that starting letter made it very easy to find. I got it on my third guess and will never get to truly experience this quiz. :(

Is there a way to randomize this? I guessed USA first and had the quiz done in 8 seconds. I was really looking forward to the next country until I realized it was the same one again!

I was able to get it in one guess because for a frame before the quiz started, it showed the map and I saw that the USA was black and China was red. It narrowed it down to a single country before I even started.

Taiwan should surely be purple the same as Japan? Having lived in both the fact that they came up as different colours was a bit surprising

Wow, I was extremely lucky there. I guessed USA, then tried the UK because it began with U, tried China just to see if it was in Asia, and then tried Uzbekistan.

As soon as I found out it ended in the letter ‘ ‘ (and on which continent/landmass), I just started with the highest concentration of ending in ‘ ‘ countries and got it on the second attempt.

If I said which letter and continent you’d get it in seconds so I have left it as ‘ ‘ and left the continent/landmass un-named.

I've only just seen this quiz for the first time. Brilliant and it literally took me to guess every f*****g Asian country ending with n before I got it. Needs a randomised version

How did you have enough time to guess every Asian country or did you take It untimed? I guess it is not working on my screen because I guessed Senegal and it appeared in yellow which indicates that the answer is in Africa.

Came to the comments to ask exactly this. It is a pain scrolling back and forth to see what the color meant again, yes... short term memory...

Even an abbreviation with help if anything more takes too much room. Like red c (for continent), blue ll (last letter)

Cause with so little time on the clock it is otherwise quite undoable if you don't remember the colors (even more difficult because there are more quizzes out there with color-coding and don't think all the quizzes use same color for things like last letter etc)

maybe clarify in the header that yellow is the same bigger landmass but not the same continent? i was confused when is was typing russia-china-iran etc and there was no yellow in the mix so i thought the country must therefore be an island counted in the continent of asia because it was apparently not 'the same landmass'
