Countries that Block Other Countries from Water

Several countries egregiously block or very nearly block other countries from reaching bodies of water. Can you name the blocking and blocked countries?
"Blocking" is defined as separating another country from a body of water via a thin strip of land running along the coast/banks of that body of water.
If there is more than one blocked country, write either one.
An asterisk (*) indicates that a country is very nearly blocked, but not entirely.

Thanks for the help from @JetPunker180 and @RPHXX. I would've abandoned this quiz without you.

I hope this quiz will inspire a few people to look at a map and think about the importance of water access for any community/society/country. Enjoy!

You need to create an answer in Step 2 for the blocking and the blocked countries. Then you change the quiz format in Step 4 from "Auto" to "Manual". When you change your quiz format to manual, you can format it in Step 4 just like in Step 2. Delete all the auto-generated answers for the blocking countries using the "Add and Delete Cells" menu on the right, so you only have the answers of the blocked countries left. Then create an extra column where you want your other answers to be (the blocking countries). If you now want to change those empty tiles to an answer, select them, then change them on the top from "Hint" or "Text" to "Answer" and select the answer you want.

I hope that helped

Nice quiz by the way

Came here from the link on Easternmost Countries in Europe. Great job, I nominated!

I noticed in the caveats it says that if there is more than blocked country, write either one, but this is also the sake for the blocking country for the Gulf of Aden.

If you merged Norway, you should. probably merge Ethiopia.

Also, you may want to consider ordering the columns as the body of water, the blocking country, and the blocked country. This would be a nice visual demonstration of the concept, with the blocking country column blocking the water column like in real life.

Well done for persisting. One of the more original quizzes on here. Thanks.Nominated. PS I do think the time is a bit too stingy though, just another minute for those of whose geographical knowledge requires a bit more dredging up.

There's plenty of time. Bosnia does have access to the Adriantic at Neum however marginal it may be.

That's what the asterisk is for (*)

There are some countries, such as Bosnia, that are so close to being blocked that I thought they deserved to be part of the quiz as well.

Interesting idea - the Vatican can't quite get to the Tiber! Not sure about San Marino though.
