The type-ins seem inconsistent. For example I typed "H Micronesia" and "H Congo" and those worked but "H Vatican City" and "H Netherlands" did not.

H for Vatican is Holy See and for Netherlands it is Holland.

I don't know why two Congos and Micronesia are in every quiz of this kind. I use type-in Congo, but why is there HCongo?

I also use the type-in Congo and FSM for D. R. Congo, Republic of the Congo, and F. S. Micronesia, but HCongo and HMicronesia are type-ins for their respective countries. You can try to use them on the Countries of the World quiz.

The reason behind the Congos and F. S. Micronesia showing up all the time is because as long as the type-in contains Congo or Micronesia, respectively, they will be accepted. This means Bacon Go would also be accepted for the Congos, since it contains Congo and spaces are ignored.

I tested it. Hfinland and Hrussia didn't work, neither Hnz nor Hcar, but Hcongo and Hmicronesia did. And Hpng, also it worked. I wonder why some type-ins have that possibility and some don't.

I understand your point and this is great series, thank you for it.

As Mikasuomi said, 'H Vatican City' and 'H Netherlands' aren't type-ins for their respective countries, but Holy See and Holland are, as in the Stats.

For type-ins, why aren't Hellas (Greece), Helvetia (Switzerland) and Hrvatska (Croatia) all allowed?

Given that this is an English quiz, I used the English Countries of the World Quiz, and none of those are accepted because they aren't in English.
