after the Iron Age these classifications become pretty contentious.. I tried.. Modern, Space, Information, Classical, Industrial, among a few other things. Would have never thought to type in "Early Modern Period"... I googled it and found it used a few other places, but with different dates.
Yes, I agree, I've never seen the "modern" period divided like this. I think also perhaps you want a type-in for "classical", or at least "classical antiquity", for ancient history. And the dates are perhaps a bit too specific - the end of the Middle Ages is usually reckoned, I think, to be any of various points between 1453 and 1492, so it might be best just to put "late 15th century" or something.
I've just realised how discouraging that sounds. I did actually enjoy it, and it's nice to have a quiz that isn't on the usual interminable geography for once!
I agree on the modern ages. Also, there doesn't seem to be any variants to the answers, which don't follow a consistent pattern anyway. For example, "medieval" is not accepted, nor is "antiquity".
