Hallo also works for German (there's a famous song called "Servus, Gruetzi und Hallo" that covers the three major ways of saying hi in German). And Hej works in Swedish as well.

You shouldn't include things that work for multiple languages because then you have to guess each language that includes that. This problem applies to Shalom, Hallo, Hej, and Zdravo (and technically Ciao because there are some minor languages that use it in addition to Italian but I'll let that one slide)
