I think the only answer you'll get any pushback over is Tesla - you can start a small war in the Balkans over attributing his nationality - which is amazing given the complexity.

I think your call on Tesla is right given that you have a consistent policy on linking birthplace to the country it's in as of 2021. Serbs claim him because he was ethnically Serb (the airport in Belgrade is named after him) but he was born in what is now Croatia and was a citizen of Austria-Hungary and then the United States.
