To speak of the "creation" of Schneewittchen might be a bit of a stretch, as the Gebrüder Grimm famously collected and edited Fairy Tales instead of making them up.
On the other hand the origins of this Fairy Tale remain unknown and the Grimm Brothers were the first to write it down, so it certainly deserves to be listed under 1812.
Indeed, the "creation" of Snow White is up for debate as the tale most of us are familiar with is the Brothers Grimm's version which is an amalgamation of different stories.
However, this is somewhat the case for many tales.
Consequently, I have chosen to retain the "official" date of publication by the Brothers Grimm, for lack of more precision on previous writings.
You are right, I suppose I could have indicated that this is Mickey Mouse in question here to avoid any confusion. But honestly I don't know any other fictional Mickeys.
looks like elsa of arendelle is based on the snow queen from the book by hans christian andersen, which would put her sometime in the 1800s, no? maybe specify you mean from the film frozen
The Snow Queen only very, very loosely inspired Frozen. The only thing the two characters have in common are "woman associated in some way with cold weather." Her name, setting, backstory, plot, and characterization are all entirely different. You don't have to specify "from the film Frozen" because that and its subsequent derivative works are the only places "Elsa of Arendelle" exists.
Yeah, Snow White wasn't created in 1812. And don't give me "that version was", cause you could say the same for every Batman comic when a new writer comes along (and every TV/film version, for that matter), which is of course ridiculous. It's just the first written version of Snow White.
At first it was pretty daunting eek (when I just saw the quiz), but I started from the most recent (the last 3 I knew immediately) and slowly facts started to come to me. I the end there were 3 I wasn't sure how to place, dracula, oliver twist and sherlock holmes. And 2 of them ended up in the wrong place.
Very suprised to see snow white as the least guessed!! that was once of the ones I was sure about when I filled it in.

Anyway, this is fixed :)
