I skipped apple because I thought that was green. When it turned up as a correct one, I figured in English it might be both. But when I looked on wiktionary, at apple it does refer to green but not to red. When you go to the colour red, apple is not there in the list of synonyms, if you go to green however, apple ís in the list. So it seems to be the same as in my country.

So I would suggest to replace it, even apple=red is not illogical and I am sure some (paint)company might have used it to refer to their product, apple-green is definitely a term/color. Which makes it problematic to have on here.

Fun quiz though

This makes perfect sense, since both the red apple and the green apple are equally common.

I changed this answer.

Nice. That series of yours definitely lends itself well to the Sudden Death format. I've never heard of the one I missed, but apparently, it's a plant that has red pigment. Interesting!

Yep, fire engine plants use a lot of red pigment.
