^ me too. I don't think I met any Muslims there in Addis, Gondar, Lalibela or Axum. They might be in the villages along the borders closer to Sudan and Somalia, maybe. I only met Christians and Rastafarians.
Kal: You must be joking or interacting with lots of tourists visiting their promised land? Rastafarians number maybe 1 million worldwide and are certainly scarse in Ethiopia (even though Ethiopia is their promised land). There are more in Jamaica :). In any case, chances of you meeting a Muslim are far greater than meeting a Rastafari, granted locations visited will play a part (visiting a holy place for Rastafarians will help). Visiting Harar (Islams 4th holiest place) would have certainly changed your perception. Most of the islamic people live in Eastern parts of Ethiopia, although Addis Ababa also has a large muslim community (incl. many Somali) which you may not have noticed. Have you been there or are you pulling stats off the Internet? Because I've been there. And I was interacting with locals almost exclusively. I didn't say there were more Rastafarians in Ethiopia than Muslims. I said I met some in Addis Ababa. And where did I say there were no Muslims in Harar? I listed the cities that I went to. Harar wasn't one of them.
I dont see what is strange about it. Even if I try my hardest to see if there is any way it could be strange (and usually quite good at seeing things from others perspectives). I have no idea what you could have meant. Especially that for you it is the stranges EVER so it must be very very very strange.
If it asked for that then people might think they were supposed to type in countries with the biggest percentage of Muslims. And that would be a different quiz.
I think Somalia should be on here now because the population has a rate of about 99.99 percent Muslim, and has about 18 million people, which is more than Senegal's 17.5 million people and 97 percent Muslim rate.
Tunisia = 99.9%
Somalia = 98.9
Comoros = 98.3%
I could go on. Please actually look at the source material.
